A VOICE OF REASON FOR ALL

JESSE YOUNG IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE IN DISTRICT 26 ENDORSED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT

MAKE CRIME ILLEGAL AGAIN

Representative Young is our senior elected delegate from the 26th District and is now making the move to the Washington State Senate, where he can be even more effective for us!

Jesse has served in the Washington State House of Representatives since he was unanimously appointed by Republicans and Democrats in 2014. Prior to entering state government, Jesse was a software engineer and IT Consultant for major finance, aerospace, and healthcare corporations. Jesse still consults in the technology and healthcare arenas when out of session. He and his wife, Jennie, live in Gig Harbor, WA with their six children.

While serving Washington State, Representative Young has championed crucial legislation for the 26th District and the state, with his most notable victory being to stop the ever-increasing tolls on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and making sure they go away when the debt is paid off.

Other successful wins have included:

  • Making sure that Sound Transit car tabs fees which add hundreds of dollars to yearly renewals did not get implemented in our district.
  • Expanding Veteran Healthcare options and the right to choose where to exercise those options.
  • Protecting our groundwater and reducing carbon with his bi-partisan Pollution Liability Insurance Agency legislation.
  • Championing low-income housing – even breaking party ranks multiple times to do so.
  • Standing up for data privacy and against big tech’s push to “own” your data.

Jesse is a strong advocate for individual liberty and works hard to make sure our rights are preserved and that everyone has an opportunity to succeed.

MESSAGE FROM JESSE YOUNG

“It is an honor to serve, and you can trust that I will continue to stand up for your rights. What’s more, I will continue to fight to make our government more transparent and efficient so that we can all get our money’s worth without breaking the bank. The truth is, we don’t need to raise taxes to fund the services so many need. With proper vision and leadership we can grow our economy so that it naturally returns the revenue we need while providing new jobs for our children.”
